Western Nevada FC signs Kieran Toland

Western Nevada FC is pleased to announce the signing of Kieran Toland to the club. Kieran is a very strong central midfielder that is coming to the club from Paisley, Scotland. Some accolades Kieran has earned are D1 player of the week and United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week during his senior campaign for St Bonaventure. At St Bonaventure, he was captain for 3 years and he played for 4 years making 66 appearances tallying 11 goals and 8 assists. He helped them qualify for the A-10 tournament his senior year. While growing up he played with several different Scottish Academies including St Mirren FC, Queens Park FC and Morton FC.

 

Kieran had this to say about joining the club, “It feels great to finally be here and be a part of the squad. Coach Hill has a great vision and I am excited to be a part of that vision and help take Western Nevada forward.”

 

Western Nevada FC Coyotes GM and Head Coach, Ian Hill, had a comment regarding the signing of Kieran Toland, “Kieran is a tremendous talent with great skill and a high soccer IQ. He has already made a great impact in just being here a week. We look forward to Kieran doing amazing things this season.”

 

The club asked Kieran for some insight into his game and this is what he had to say, “On the field, expect to see a gritty, hardworking, physical, no-nonsense, technical player who loves to get on the ball and make things happen but also loves to get stuck in!”
